DL PRO Electronic Register: Lessons, Attendance, Grades and Homework in One Place

← Back to blog

The DL PRO electronic register helps language schools keep lesson records up to date without paper registers, scattered spreadsheets or notes passed between teachers. In one place, users can record what happened in a lesson, check student attendance, add an exam, grade, exercise, homework task or supporting file.

Below, you will learn that:

  • the DL PRO electronic register keeps information about every lesson and the material covered organised
  • teachers can record attendance, exam results, grades, exercises and homework
  • the school has shared documentation available to teachers and course coordinators

What is included in the electronic register?

The lesson details view displays information about a particular group: the lesson date and time, as well as the assigned coursebook or course. It gives teachers a useful reference when preparing for class and allows coordinators to review how a course is progressing.

The Register tab is used to record what was covered during a lesson. A teacher can enter a page number, vocabulary, a grammar topic, a communicative activity or a short note about the group’s work. The exact structure of the register can be configured to suit the needs of a particular group. The next teacher can immediately see where the group finished, without searching through messages or asking a colleague.

Entries are arranged chronologically, making it easy to check the pace of the course and review the lesson history. The Methodology tab provides a place for team notes, such as arrangements concerning a specific group’s needs, pace of work, materials or approach to teaching.

Attendance, exams and student tasks

In the Attendance tab, the teacher marks which students attended the lesson. The school does not need to transfer the register into another system. The data remains linked to the relevant lesson and group, making it easier to review absences and contact learners who regularly miss classes.

The Exams tab makes it possible to add a test, record its status and percentage result, then assign a grade. This means results do not get lost in emails or in a teacher’s private files. Separate Exercises and Homework tabs help teachers assign activities to students, set a due date and check the status of each task. The Files tab can be used to add materials needed for class or independent study.

Documentation that makes work easier

The DL PRO electronic register is part of a language school management system. It helps organise everyday information without adding another tool for teachers to manage. Teachers have a straightforward way to maintain lesson records, while the school retains access to course history, attendance and student results.

Importantly, the school can also review this information easily and export it as reports for selected periods, including a term or an entire school year.
